Prashanth Parameswaran is Associate Editor at The Diplomat based in Washington, D.C., where he writes mostly on Southeast Asia, Asian security affairs, and U.S. foreign policy in the Asia Pacific. He is also a PhD candidate at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. An ASEAN citizen who grew up in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines before moving to the United States, Prashanth previously worked on Asian affairs at several think tanks including the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
